I got to drive a base Mach 1 today. It's a really sweet car and I loved it. That 20 extra horses was easy to feel, but in the end, it was just like driving my 2019 PP2 premium. Even shifting the transmission felt the same, and maybe not as good at times. My salesman did some figuring with my trade, what I owed, and what they wanted, and it was way not worth swapping.
If it had been a Mach 1 HP with the A10, it would have been more tempting, but still not worth it.

I think the PP2 is the best value out there in your top end Mustangs. Yeah it's not perfect, and doesn't have everything needed for the track, but it's got most of it for a lot less money.
The FP power pack 2 solves that issue.

I thought for the 18+ there was only one Power Pack option. No level 1, 2 or 3 like 15-17. As for Ford options. I expect if I keep my PP2 I'll just hold out and go with headers, intake and E85 down the road.

The "problem" with the FP power pack is, you are now stuck with just that. As far as I'm aware, you cannot mod the upgrade. Once installed, adding headers etc, won't get you anymore HP/TQ gains. In reality, a closed airbox system with a reputable tuner is the most flexible choice with the highest gains IMO.

Yes, but in trade you get a warranty coverage.

Anyone know the wheel color code? I'd need some touchup as it has a minor chip

Not yet. I'm doing the BMR cb762 soon and will probably do LTH/X-pipe and wheel lips over the winter. Considering a low boost/big IC ESS g3 Centri after that.

Pulled the trigger on a totally stock 1 owner low miles '19 PP2, Recaros, here come the upgrades for tracking...addressing the diff cooling first plus camber setups to save those Cup 2s.

Congratulations on your new child. I truly believe the PP2 is the best Mustang yet and I have driven a lot of them, including the Mach 1. Good choice.

Thanks! Keeping it mechanically stock for now, since under warranty. I just have to be gentle with that MT82 I'm hearing. Did shop for the Mach 1 but still around $65K, got this for $41K, not bad still in this crazy market. Gives me elbow room for some susp upgrades, i.e. camber plates

if it were not for the Mach 1 announcement in mid 2020 confirming it, I was going to order a 2020 PP2. almost perfect car.
