PP1 Wheels on a Base GT Premium car?

Clearly the search function and Google are not my friend. This has to have been asked. Can PP1 wheels fit a base GT Premium? I'm looking to order a '22 GT, but I'm just looking for a fun cruiser not a racer. I don't think I'll benefit from the Performance Package, but I do really like the wheels.

My other option is going with an Aftermarket wheel. Ultimately, I'd like to push the tires out for that flush look, but I do not want them to "poke".

Just trying to figure out all my costs.

Those are the optional upgraded wheels. They were a $795 option in 2019. I think they're even more expensive now...like the rest of the options.

If you want PP1 wheels, get them used, don’t pay new prices. A ton of people swap them out. The downside to them are that they’re quite heavy and kind of soft and easy to bend. The offsets are also not very aggressive so they aren’t flush.

Some good aftermarket flow formed wheels are cheaper than new PP1 wheels, stronger, and can come in flush offsets. Look at LMR’s SVE brand for reasonably priced wheels that are strong and flush offsets.

I've had the PP1 wheels for 3 years and driving mostly as a North East curser never had a problem with the strength of the wheels as pot holes are a part of the landscape or even the asphalt curbing that ends up on the road from a plow. Mine wheels were cast in the USA.
I've owned aftermarket wheels in the past with long term ownership and is sucks when 1 of the 4 gets damaged years down the road.
I drive mostly the NE back roads on road trips tramlining is a problem when going to wide on the S550 with roads that are subject to a life time of NE frost heaving.

Those aren't part of the PP1 package. But, no not all PP1 wheels are black. For some years and/or markets, that wheel was available in nickel. Nickel was around $200 extra MSRP when I ordered mine. You don't see many in the US where most Mustangs are bought off a lot and dealers could lose more sales over the higher price than they would from not having nickel sitting on the lot, particularly when the typical buyer doesn't even know the option exists.

Yes and no. They aren't part of the PP1 package but can only be ordered with the PP1 package. So are they PP1 wheels? I'm gonna say yes. But you have an interesting point... and a nice car.

The pp1 wheels will fit and with 25 mm spacers all around they are flush. Are they worth it though? Maybe, I got mine for $1000 off Shelbyauctions and they were brand new take off wheels with Michelin pilot sport 4s tires and sensors and since I needed new tires anyways and with the Michelin’s costing 350 new I consider the wheels free. I then sold my original ones for 600 and ended up with a set of brand new 400 dollar wheel and tires. This is the route I would recommend for you. If you buy just the wheels and need tires I wouldn’t recommend them though as they are heavy and better wheels can be had.

If you are going to play games with spacers, you might as well just buy 19x10 Apex wheels and save the trouble.

@Doolin64 are you looking for staggered? There are some downsides such as inability to do standard rotation. Plus, some (if not most) tire makers reduce milage warranties because of that. Michelin, for example, cuts the mileage warranty in half.

Then for PP wheels but no stagger you'll need four 19x9 fronts or four 19x9.5 rears. And I believe the 9.5 rears need spacers in the front to clear the struts. The same size spacers in front and rear should get you to flush.
