Im going to be purchasing a 2015 Performance pack with stock PP1 wheels. The rear tires on the car (275/35/19) are totally shot. I want to keep these wheels but curious about what tire sizes work best. I can keep the front tires (255/40/19) stock size but want a wider tires on the rear for aggressive appearance. So will 285/35/19 work well with 255/40/19 on the front? Im also wondering if 1" rear wheel spaces will work with 285's, and do you guys put front wheel spacers on? And what size spacer up front? Thanks for all the info!!!

Ideally I think you'd want to run like a 20mm spacer in the rear and a 25mm in the front to be just right. 25mm in the rear works, lots of people do it. I wouldn't personally recommend bolt on spacers (I'd just take that money and save up for wheels with the right widths and offsets), but its a popular appearance mod, yes.

You can easily put a 285/35R19 on the rear 9.5" PP1 wheel. I wouldn't say a 255/285 works well. It works, but that kind of stagger isn't doing you any favors as far as neutral balanced handling go. If you don't care about corner carving, then sure its absolutely fine.

There's no appreciable differences to be had in the small variations you can go up or down in aspect and width, no reason to not use a 255/40 and a 275/40 like it came with OE.

BTW The stock rear tire is a 275/40 not a 275/35, Try getting the Michelin tires that are used on the 18+ PP1 cars, they are a much better tire than the pirellis used from 15-17

I agree on sticking with the stock tire sizes. Going wider just for the sake of going wider (especially on stock rims) isn't buying you much. I'm still running the stock Pirelli P Zeros on my PP wheels, though the tires are just about shot. Just bought a set of Michelin PS4S from a guy with a 2019 for $800 that I'm getting mounted this weekend. I'm running a 1" (25mm) spacer front and rear.

Eventually, I'd like to square up the setup, with 275s on rear wheels in the front, but for now, I'm just stoked to get rid of the bullshit Pirellis.

If you don't want to spend the coin on the Michelins, a lot of people have really good luck with the Firestone Indy 500s. I just bought a set for my wife's 2017 C300 AMG, which are getting installed this weekend, as well.
