Got my Mustang at Christmas, put about 7k miles on it as a dd since then. Last week I was at a stop light and the whole car just went dark as I put in the clutch. I was able to quickly start it back up and recover, but none of my cars of any brand have ever done that before. Thankfully it hasn't happened since.

Now this morning my radio blinked and then immediately booted up again from the Mustang logo, as if I had just started the car. Hadn't seen that before either.

I got the car with 28k on it, replaced the battery and negative battery cable at 30k service. No other obvious electrical issues, but concerned to have two odd gripes so close together. Thoughts?

I've had the 8" screen/Sync randomly restart a time or two with no other symptoms or problems.
Short of a dying battery the entire car has never done it.

My mustang radio used to do that every 6 months or so. Hasn't happened in a couple years now though. It's also died occasionally pulling up to a light but fires right back up. Only did that once in the last year or so, so I hadn't thought much about it until you posted it.

See if you have any codes stored.
A friend had a similar thing happen on a BMW and that ended up being the Alternator.

Could it be related to the 24B47 recall? A dealer just reached out to me to schedule that on my 2019. She said their mobile tech will come out to perform it while my car is still hibernating, haha.

Check your battery ground connection as well. If it was replaced maybe there is a loose connection.
