The color is called Golden Ticket. Really has a chromish gold look. It’s awesome!

Will do bud, they are matte black Mach1 badges in a more fitting font style.
I've often said the one thing holding back ford and the Mach 1 design wise is the old school font. It instantly ages the car. I am curious to see the outcome.

Not sure if you are joking but it’s a Mach1 w/ the handling package.
Not at all. If you remove logos and vinyls, only thing that makes it visually recognisable as Mach 1 is the front fascia. Rear spoiler is from GT500, rear diffusor is from GT500, tailpipes are unique but similar to GT500, sides/roof are identical to any GT and wheels in this colour don't look like Mach 1 on the first sight either. Actually I didn't recognizes them yesterday as HP wheels on quick look when I wrote it, haha. There's GT's with those wheels too.

It works great and it looks fantastic, but the typical Mach 1 look is lost, which is fine because that's what people want when they remove logos and vinyls. That's how normal person recognizes it, though. 3 out of 4 photos that you posted don't say anything about Mach 1, GT could really look the same from those angles.

Don't take this the wrong way, I don't mean it bad. It is what you intended for. It's fine. Great colour and great looking car :like:

I see what you are saying, but I respectfully disagree. Stickers and emblems don’t make cars in my opinion, and by your logic you can take a GT, add the visual pieces of a Mach1 and you now have the Mach1….Touching nothing on the suspension other than lowering springs and not needing to do anything to the motor. When you look up the VIN on this car it will say it’s a Mach1.

I feel cars are an expression of ourselves and it’s cool when you make something your own. It’s boring for me to leave something as it came from the factory. It is ok if a person chooses to leave a car pure and untouched as it came off the lot how Ford designed it, that’s just not for me. I appreciate you words on its appearance 🍻

I agree. I like to make a car my own, but I do have friends begging me to de-stripe my car. I see the appeal, but I agree that the stripes is what make it unique. Of course the Fighter Jet Grey immediately says Mach 1 since that is a Mach exclusive color.. That said, I do intend to remove parts of the stripes. I am not a huge fan of the side stripes, I will modify them, probably remove the ones behind the rear tire to make it more like the older Mustangs. But the one on the hood, I dig it :)

I think certain colors work with the striping/decals better than others. FJG is at the top of the list, so unique and it just works!

Of course they don't. They change visual impression but that has no impact on how the car drives. Every owner can do whatever he wants with his car ofc.

People who see the car in the streets know little about small nuances between them, they don't know anything about the suspension or what's different under the hood. So without clear visual distinction I can see how someone could say "just another GT". That was my point. You did it that way, you want it that way, and that is entirely fine. Not everyone likes it the way Ford made it.

Well, looks like I'm way off topic in the pictures topic. So back on topic.

Lordy I wish i changed my FJG to green. I had already placed the order and I could have changed it but they didnt release any pics. I was so worried they would make the calipers red and i HATE with all my heart the green/red and yellow/red combination of colors. I chickened out )=
