Brake boosting with a V6?6.5 seconds. Best I could get, even with brake boosting. In sport mode, automatic, that redlines every shift basically. Also tried paddles, shifting before redline, but no better.
59 degrees out, with Minnesota elevation. Must of got a dud lol.
Yes sir makes a big differenceBrake boosting with a V6?
Can't brake boost when you aren't boosted. Brake torquing is a little different in that it's just preloading the converter. Just a matter of terminology I guessYes sir makes a big difference
Lol wrong section buddyi have been getting 5.0 0-60 very consistantly. (per track apps)
stock.......LC @ 3,300 rpm ..... 20 pzeros....80 degree ouside on concrete
Nice run zach! Best I did with my v6 was 5.1 secondsJust ran a 5.2 0-60! Same mods as before in about 60 degree weather.
Thanks! What temp was your 0-60 in? Seems like it plays a major role in the V6's 0-60 time.Nice run zach! Best I did with my v6 was 5.1 seconds
I believe my 0-60 was done in about 50 degree weather. As with any car the colder the air the better lol and the v6 does like cool air for sure, and I agree with the spacer it does help a bit even though most people say it doesnt. Also, that's a strange issue with your hesitation but your the only one with long tubes so we don't know if everyone would have that issue. Thanks! What temp was your 0-60 in? On a side note, reinstalled my throttle body spacer yesterday and good god did it make a difference. I know a lot say the spacer does nothing but I can certainly say I gained some low end when I reinstalled. Now if I can only get my hands on some high flow cats.... I might finally be able to eliminate that damn hesitation and get the tune really dialed in.
