I’m home working and my youngest is playing with Jess.

This wasn’t a one picture and done, she has been getting pushed around the house, in a pram, with her hat on for about 15 minutes …

This past Monday we lost Oreo. The day before he was throwing up, but since he had a sensitive stomach, that was a regular occurrence. Monday morning he had stopped eating and drinking, so we took him to the vet. They did an x ray and found fluid in his abdomen outside the stomach wall, so they suspected he had a ruptured ulcer. Anyway, they were getting ready to do surgery to repair the rupture and he passed before he even got to the table. They ran a bloodtest and confirmed sepsis. He was only 4 years old.

We had similar happen to our Aussie, turned out she had got into rodent poison (we don't use any sort of chemicals at our house so assume from an infected mouse). Heartbreaking.... you have my sympathies.

I would think most of us on this thread have been down this road. It’s never easy. Our Bischon was 16-1/2 when we had to put him down. We had plenty of time to prepare but when the time comes it’s tough. Still miss him and that was almost 10 years ago. Our staffy Lola is 11 and getting gray and slowing down. She got us through losing Spike. Best wishes for you and family getting through this.

Since you guys all loved my cat (Maximilian), here is a pic of my Sun Conure, Sebastiana. She likes to help herself to my iced green tea and is always front and center when it’s time to cook…! 🙄🤣
