Brand new HE, jacked it up today and noticed a wet spot just under the aft. electrical connection. Also, the bottom of the pan is not totally flat, it bulges out in the middle, just a bit. Searched but couldn’t find anything similar, anyone seen anything like this? The area is near the white dot in the photo.

Wet as in water or oil? Designers chose a really bad location to dump AC condensate. It has freaked me out several times when I see a spot on the shop floor different from the last.

I like to disassemble things.
The pan shape, while odd, is by design.

Thanks for the responses,
It’s some kind of oily substance, but 600 miles on the car now, and no drip, cooler lines are dry as a bone, maybe some kind of residual from assembly? I’ll keep an eye on it, doesn’t seem like a leak. The car is just badass, never owned anything remotely like this.

There was probably some dielectric grease for moisture proofing in that connector that got warm & oozed out. I had a gob of grease from the steering rack that melted and splattered down the belly pan. The ooze trail led back to the rack boot, which was ok and never leaked, so it must have been stuck on it.

The air conditioning condensate dumps directly onto the transmission. I recall working under the car after changing the fine filter and idling it. It was like it was pouring rain. If you say it's oily, then I'd keep an eye on it. I would jack it up after not running the A/C and have another look.

Crap design if you ask me.

Keep an eye on it. My ‘21 never leaked, then I had a drip at the trans cooler. Took a couple of weeks to get a new one with fittings etc, Got it back and all good for a week, then huge leak after the trans lines under the driver seat blew ( I was told those have an FSB); didn’t matter though because after those were replaced I was told the transmission was bad… I’m guessing excessive pressure caused the leaks.
3 months to remedy.
Absolutely love this GT500, but damn…Ford makes it tough to be loyal to the brand at times.
