Hey guys!
Hopefully this is in the right spot. I picked up a 2019 Ecoboost a couple weeks ago. I've noticed that when I turn the wheel sometimes there is a popping/cracking sort of noise. I'm having a hard time describing it, especially since I really do not know cars mechanically at all. I was hoping someone can help me out.
I wish I can give more detail, but it's hard to explain. It sounds like it's coming from the front, like I said when I turn the wheel. Mainly only seems to happen when I turn the wheel all the way for a tight turn. Half the time I've been ignoring it, so I can't say if it's happening 100% of the time or when going over speed bumps.
So to kinda recap..I think it's happening over speedbumps (sometimes?), tight wheel turn such as pulling into a driveway or parking spot.
Anybody have any idea what this could be? Can you explain it in the simplest of terms for someone who doesn't know a lot about this sort of stuff? I would appreciate it!
Thanks in advance! If you need any more details, please let me know and I'll try to explain it better.
2019 Ecoboost w/Performance Package if that changes anything.
