Hopefully I can reciprocate this group something I learned this afternoon. There is a website of the NICB or National Insurance Crime Bureau. You can do a VIN check on a car and if it's in their database, you can find out if it was ever stolen or destroyed. The link is:
https://www.nicb.org/vincheck and it is involved with law enforcement. It's a way to know if a car you are looking at was ever stolen or totaled and rebuilt. It isn't complete I'm sure but they go back to 1920 in some cases. Unfortunately I found out that my Dark Blue 2012 Mustang V6 coupe that I bought new and sold in 2014 was totaled in 2018. As some may know, it often can total a car with insurance if even just the air bags go off if the car is old enough. This website could be a good addition to investigation of any car you are looking for as I am to find out what the current owner may not even know. I hope this is helpful to you.

Again, I appreciate all the inputs and keep em coming. I am taking notes and putting it all together to study. You guys have sent me back to school. LOL.

All my best

Hello; A question. Since the spare pictured already exists, could it be that it will fit on the rear axels? Might be a chore but perhaps with a front tire flat one of the rear wheels could go on the front and the spare goes on the back.
A possible flaw with the idea is if the wheels are staggered in size. But if a square setup then the rears ought to fit on the front.
I believe that would work.

I have not read the vast majority of posts here BUT the one thing I would say, as I suspect most have said, is to not buy anything that has been tuned, or tuned and then de-tuned. No one knows what stupidity may have been applied to these vehicles. I would also buy only one that is fully stock with no aftermarket mods, at least nothing more than is cosmetic.

I have had my '22 GT Premium since new and have not messed with anything. The only thing I do not like all that much is the A10 but I did not want a heavy clutch manual either at my current age of 75. If you can afford it, I would buy the more later versions, e.g. 20-23, particularly if you like the optioned up Premium trim. My logic, true or not, would also say Ford will have had all those extra years since 2015 to iron out more kinks and weaknesses in this S550.

We all just have to remember that Ford is not Quality One when it comes to being a manufacturer. We own a Coyote Mustang because we want one, and we accept the warts and BS that sometimes comes with it.

That was very well said and I will take it to heart.
Thank you.

Sorry. I did not read all of the posts but there's a lot of great information on here.
You should ask yourself a few questions first and then you can find the answers.
Some questions. What are you getting the car for. Daily driving, summer, occational car shows... climate will be a factor in this.
What type of driver are you. Reserved, spirited... so do you want a PP?
Do you plan on long drives and does fuel milage matter.
Do you have medical problems such as knee problems. Auto only then...
Does sound quality of the stereo matter to you. If so you know you will be updating the system. $$$
This is just a start of some things you need to ask yourself to help you get what you want to be happy. Hope this helps you out.
I am quite pleased with my 2018 GT PP1 with some modifications. Steeda stop the hop kit, jacking rails, k member brace and high flow air filter. Upgraded speakers. Upgrade to Sync 3 and digital cluster. Gt350 PP gages. Paint protection film. There are a few more.
BTW. I went for a trip of 1600 miles and got 26.2 mpg round trip.

Thank you for that. Now, remembering that my heyday with Mustangs was in the 70's, 80s and 90s, raising grandkids has kept me from keeping up as I would like. My cars were in the Boss 302, GT500, GT fastback and so forth with the solid rear axle. I've heard that IRS produces wheelhop sometimes. Is that anything major and is that the purpose of the kit you mentioned?

Major, no. If you have a heavy foot and are and are a spirited driver, some what.
With the pp tire's grip (PS4S) I personally didn't like the hop when I got on it.
If your wondering. I would get the pp again. The gains for me worked better than spending the $ for the aftermarket equal upgrades. Just my opinion.

I am also at the point that I want to research codes such as engine, trans, color, trim, etc. I am used to door data tags. Is that still the way it's done today? I was wondering what sites are best for learning the different codes so I can know what a car I'm looking at came with from the factory. All responses welcome. :-)

Just an FYI, I am known as a (ahem) spirited driver. My daily driver is a 2014 ford Edge SEL that has NO trouble getting down the road. The engine is the 285HP engine and she has performed flawlessly.

Rats. I found this on a Fiesta forum.
".....Mar 6, 2023 — Yep Ford ETIS has finally been decommissioned. Was handy for many to find out vehicle info and build dates etc, for free...."

BUT I found this:
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Home/SetCountry?returnUrl=/AsBuilt

Also (don't shoot the messenger), I found a page of recalls for the S550. The list is too long so I'll just post a link.

https://www.cjponyparts.com/resources/s550-mustang-recall-and-tsb-info?

Note: when I picked up my grandkids this afternoon, a 18-23 yellow convertible drove past. I sort of kinda to a certain extent had to follow him a bit. Yeah I really like that yellow, folks.

Which yellow? There were two in 2018-2023. Triple Yellow (2018 was the last year for that color) and Grabber Yellow/Yellow Peel (2021 only color). Both are great, I had a 2016 in Triple Yellow and it got all kinds of compliments.
