Good to know. My '15 came with factory 20s and no spare. Neither did my M1. I'm curious what your spare looks like and how it fit inside the truck cubby. 🤔

I think Ford OEM spare is only made for the smaller brake setups. Anything for Brembo s will need aftermarket spare (unless you want to carry a full size that will not fit in the hole).
The aftermarket is kinda of a donut but it fits in the hole and it won t leave you stranded.

Just walked outside and snapped this pic. I'm not sure if it'll clear the bigger brakes. Mine is a plain GT so I don't have that issue.

From my window sticker, it seems the aftermarket options are cheaper since they're closer to the $300 mark. Thanks Ford!

Probably depends how much lower than stock you sit
With the 35 profile tires, it's pretty close to HP ride hight.

You should probably be ok then. There’s a few HP guys that have that kit. I’ve not seen or heard any issues, but then again, hopefully they haven’t needed it yet

Arguing over whether a Mustang has cylinder deactivation clearly shows that you don't and just derails the thread.
Hello; Interesting how my asking a question about an issue gets translated into being argumentative. I did not know for sure so i presented some background and asked. I started a new thread as suggested as you know since you have already posted there. Feel free to continue in that one.

I d assume a folded sizer jack would fit under a lowered car at the jacking points.
I'm sure it will. I bought used scissor jack and it needed at least 4" before seating in the rocker seam on stock height 255-40-19. I welded a bolt head to it and use impact to jack up the car in seconds.

The OEM spare above won't work on the Brembo-equipped cars, it won't clear the front brakes.

Spare solution for the Brembo brake cars: https://www.automotiveauthorityllc....-2015-2017-ford-mustang-gt-with-brembo-brakes

Fits perfectly, on the car and in the trunk. It's a tight fit in the spare tire well, but it goes.
Hello; A question. Since the spare pictured already exists, could it be that it will fit on the rear axels? Might be a chore but perhaps with a front tire flat one of the rear wheels could go on the front and the spare goes on the back.
A possible flaw with the idea is if the wheels are staggered in size. But if a square setup then the rears ought to fit on the front.

It wasnt me that suggested another thread. See post #50.

Can we move on now?
