In for pics of that and end result with cover back on. I don't want to notch mine either.

BTW, backordered on Levittown until end of May :(, ordered on 4.27.17.
I'll do a little write up for ya:cheers:

I was surprised by that. I have the automatic version, and it is great! No problems whatsoever, and significantly more power and much quicker in both regular and Sport+ settings. Maybe it's in the install??
I suspect both no votes are not by anyone who actually has one yet...but I may be wrong.

I just addressed that at the top of the thread. I thought that would be implied when I made it but who knows.

I’ll definitely put it back on. I just didn’t want to notch it.

I found that if I replace the “T” fitting with a “Y” fitting to the evap. lines I can create more space under the cover.
Please let us know where to get the Y fitting as well

This might be working! FP has been working on a prototype tune to address Rev-hang.

Me and at least 2 others have looked into it and will get back to you all with the results.

@THE_AHJ & @SidewaysMike I had one of those Dorman Fuel Line Connectors laying around the garage suprisingly
so I just did a quick re-route using that piece (saved me a trip to the hardware store which was cool).

https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-800-1...=1494965795&ref=plSrch&ref_=mp_s_a_1_1&sr=8-1

Grab your connector and some fuel hose.

Cut about 1.5 to 2" worth of hose and connect.

Remove old hose and re-connect new assembly.

Connect to inlet tube.

No notch on the engine cover.:D

I also uploaded the new tune from Ford Performance. Its was a real quick upload compared to the original.

After driving it this morning I can say that it is much more civilized, refined and even smoother. There is no rev-hang anymore
and the decel isn't nearly as violent. The pedal feel is also not as sensitive. It still has the power but in a much more linear fashion.

Thanks for the write up, connector is in the cart ready to go. Only issue is $10.57 is kind of a small order amount. Anything else I should add to the cart? I did the K&N cover Wednesday. Amazon is fun :D

I love the fact that its CARB approved and has a warranty ... but the big downside here for me is that the gains don't seem as impressive as those from other tuners and most of all there is no E85/flex fuel compatibility.

Where did you get the "new tune"? Will FPR automatically issue the latest tune when the power pack is installed? Or did you have to request it?

Ultimately, the question is "How can I be sure that I'm getting the new tune without the rev hang?" (Version numbers?)

I have been holding off purchasing until a fix for the rev hang was available. If this new tune is widely available and adequately addresses the problems, perhaps it is time to warm up the credit card....
