What are folks using to clean the stock exhaust tips? I got some Mothers Mag and Metal polish however it says do not use if the polish doesn't have black tarnish developing. I used a bit and didn't see any black so I shelved it.

Just want something to clean it up and get the water spots off of it. I'm not a big "shine" guy but it looks dull.

I have been using this every now and then. Used during the wash process with the supplied sponge, then hosed off. Easy to use.

Any chrome polish will work and get yourself one of these foam polishers you attach to a drill.

I used that as well came out nice. Semichrome would also work well but I’m good w the Mothers.

Not the best picture.

0000 steel wool and mothers to get nasty stuff off, followed by a 3" foam polishing pad with mothers on my Milwaukee cordless polisher.

What about No. 7 chrome and metal polish? I have an '18 Ecoboost Premium. I don't think the exhaust tips are chrome or stainless.

I use mothers chrome polish. It's about 15 years old, still works as well as the first day.

Try Flitz polish, works great on metal. I use it on the britework on some of the jets I work on.
