No matter what I do, my PMAS intake keeps coming apart at the couplers. I’ve made sure it clears the hood every time but honesty it fits like garbage. Today on the way home from work it came apart again with normal driving. Got it home And found it came off the throttle body and at the meter.

The only thing I could think of would be your hose clamps aren't tight enough. Mine doesn't move at all thousands of miles later

I never liked the way mine fit on the 2015 either. The filter fell off the plastic piece it was attached to and I had to glue it back on. The overall quality and look was not good. I only went with it because of the hype about the flow performance. Then I hit the dyno and made no power over the JLT I had on it. This is why I went back to JLT for my 2018.

the tube of mine rubs against the hood, but still no coming apart. Fitment does leave a lot to be desired, but it works.

i Think I’m going to try some light tack adhesive and see if that helps. It worked wonders on my intercooler piping with my Turbo Foxbody. T-bolt clamps may be the answer as well but if this PMAS continues to give me issues I’m going to order a JLT and have Lund Change My Flex Tune calibration.

My tube actually came off last night while driving. Noticed a rough idle and an eventual shut down of the car at a red light. Guess I'm going to have to check the connections more regularly.

Came off for the second time last week. I'm not sure what else to do at this point, I've reached out to them to see what their advice is, but now it's downright annoying.

What'd you end up doing?

Did you use some kind of lube when you installed it to have it slip on? Take some engine part degreaser and rub down around the outside of the TB and inside the tube were it meets. Maybe also double up the hose clamps or get a new one from an auto part store, clamp could be faulty anything's possible

I have what I think is the 2nd gen version (has more of a heat shield around the filter). From what I can tell there is 3 gens of this product. The first one apparently had some issues, and the third one has a much lower profile heat shield. I've had zero issues with mine. In fact, I've taken the filter off a few times to oil it, and also to change out the MAF sensor. Never had anything come apart.

no lube applied, it seems that the issue is there's probably a 1/4" - maybe 1/2" of the rubber coupler on each side of the tube. If the coupler was longer I can't see this happening.

I had to take off the hood liner on my 18 to make it fit without touching.
