I have 2018 GT
My first motor was replaced last year.
The car was in for service in April where an oil change was made.
I will be storing the car for the winter so I did today swap out the oil. The motor takes 9.5L or 10 quarts.
I emptied out all the oil, changed plug and filter. I filled up with 9.5L according to the specifications(should have maybe done less).
The new oil came in 2x5L jugs, I filled the jugs with old used oil. My concern now is one jug I filled up, the other one did not get filled with more than 2.5L. I did drain all the oil from the filter removal in the pan as well prior to emptying the pan in the jugs.
I did fill up the car with half a litre 4w ago. I also had the car in last week at the dealer to check some things . One was if the oil was to low(which the dealer said it was not)
The dip stick showed the level of having adequate amount of oil.
My question is where is the rest of the oil? The gen 2 takes 8 quarts=7.5L which by chance is what I emptied out from my motor....
