Thanks for the tips but I've already got my NGuage and Steeda springs! The suspension definitely needs more help in due time though. Hopefully when I'm boosted in a year or two like you.

As far as full exhaust goes, what set-up would you recommend that's somewhat budget friendly? Thanks!
For budget friendly I would look at stainless works. I have Kooks and they were a little more expensive. But, with the Kooks, you can swap the off road pipes with their cata pretty easy; just in case you still have your car in 5 years.

I would skip the BBK LT's because with their mid pipe it's around the same price as SW and other headers. Or go ARH direct connect with a MBRP race. That will scare the women and children as you wanted. lol

So I'm looking at a few options now. Spent all day at work thinking about the following

1) MBRP race + SW/SP LTHs with performance connect - Brand new parts
2) SW LTHs and SW cat-back - $1,600 used
3) Corsa Xtreme cat-back by itself and then headers at a later time I.e. - a year or so. - $1,500

What would you guys choose for less than $2k?

If you are looking for just a great sound corsa.
if you want more power you need the headers.
Do you ever have to worry about emissions in the future? maybe you have a shop your friends with that can hook you up with a pass. if not you will need kooks green cats(expensive and still not guaranteed 49 State EPA Legal) or do a semi difficult for the non mechanically inclined header swap job multiple times.
cat deletes require cutting and welding on the 2015+ not as simple as the older cars which really sucks.
Headers will make the car much louder especially with a cat back you better be prepared to live with that? Videos do not do it justice. Decibel meters do not do it justice either.
If so either of the two options will give the same power and both will sound great(too mostly just you) and quite similar. I personally would go MBRP + SW. I hate installing used exhaust parts they never go on as easy or fit as well(cant explain it just my experience) as new stuff does.

Popping and banging comes from the tune. you would need to request it and hopefully they have the know how to do it for you or a good reason not to do it. My experience with it I lost a good 15-20% of MPGs. thats alot for an already bad choice of a daily driver

Corsa cat back and wait for the headers. Which was exactly what I did. I waited about five months in between.

markmurfie - Thanks for the detailed response. The car will be substantially louder so I won't be driving it to work at 5am anymore out of fear that my neighbors will stab me after a couple cold starts. As far as emissions, I don't have to worry about them till 2020 and I don't keep my cars very long in general. Usually change it up every two years or so.

See, if I did that, I'd probably pick up a set of Kooks catless headers down the road. But I'm stuck between getting two parts now or just the Corsa for close to the price of SW headers and MBRP exhaust. I just want to make sure I don't regret it because of the noise it makes. The Corsa's violent even without the headers and I love it.

Another option that I might be able to swing with one of our vendors is a Corsa Xtreme cat-back and Stainless Works header combo. Slightly over the budget, but nowhere near as much as Kooks/Corsa.

That could be a possibility man, see what they say, and remember to shop around.

You probably already know this.. But I feel like I should say it anyways. I've found myself in the situation where I've purchased a less expensive product in the past and not purchasing the more expensive product. I end up regretting it in the end. I'm not saying MBRP/SW are of lesser quality because of their price, as I have heard of many satisfied customers with that combo. This is just my opinion. :D

Well... Guess who joined the dark side and ordered an Xtreme.

The vendor I went through was awesome and took his time answering all of my many, many questions and spent close to 30 minutes on the phone with me before I decided on my Corsa Xtreme! Not to mention he gave me the best deal I had been quoted so far! The exhaust should be in tomorrow, if not then Friday at the latest. Now the wait is going to kill me!

A huge shoutout to Steve at RDP and many, many thanks again!!

Headers will just have to wait for now but they'll come in due time. I have a feeling the Xtreme will keep me happy in the mean time. ;) :ford:
