I tried to find the pinion angle thread but no luck. I want to see if there's a least half assed procedure to check the angles.
Vibrations are starting to come back with my stock DS. So I want to put my 1 peice back in. But the vibrations were horrible with it. Looking at my car, it seems the rear is settled more to the right hand side. Nearly an inch. I do have the SR cradle lockout kit, BMR differential lockout kit with the through bolts for the ears on the diff. Bmr lowering springs, stock motor mounts and stock transmission mount.
If there isn't a procedure of sorts, I'll begin by measuring the driveshaft in reference to the tunnel, front to back. I'll then make adjustments by moving the motor over, cross member and rear cradle. I will also measure the vertical height in reference to the tunnel and adjust accordingly. Hopefully it's a consistent height and width. I can also try to use a long straight edge to help align it front to back. I've already tried shimming down the crossmember, which helped slightly, but not enough.
I may also ditch the SR lock out kit, as it didn't seem to line up quite right and get the BMR. I got the SR when I was still new to the mustang crowd.
