Picked up Ford Performance strut tower kit

The aluminum strut tower bar only weighs 4 pounds which I like.

As soon as I remove the sound tube, I'll install the cowl c brace and strut tower brace.

Looking forward to feeling first hand how much better my base mustang GT will handle.

Wow, didn't realize the gt350 brace was that much light than the PP brace. almost 4 pounds lighter. You will definitely notice a difference, I know I did. Its an easy job and I didn't have to remove the wipers. took me a little over a half hour with the help of a friend.

The only thing that is hard to do without a removing the wipers is getting a torque wrench under the cowl to tightened down the K brace. I just tightened mine as much as I could with a ratcheting wrench. I think its only 26 ft/lbs anyway.

The first time you take a well-know tight corner quickly, you'll feel it. The front end response is significantly improved, as is the steering feedback.
