o2 transport delay settings and vct optimizations for scavenging.
Ya I figured that cam timing could be optimized to make more power but I dont think it's going to hurt anything to run it as is. One way to know for sure!

Moving forward on the headers..

Not as bad today. Coming in well rested, well fed, and hydrated... My outlook is better and my fatigue on the difficult nuts is minimal. This ain't so bad! Yesterday I was just in bad shape it turns out.

I can't say for sure but I'd say the O2 transport is something you'd want adjusted.

Ya I'll watch the AFs and see how everything behaves but I don't expect it will give my any trouble.

I tell ya what guys this is one miserable experience!! Not a hour after my initial post tonight I had had enough of this! The kooks headers are great and fit right up no problem... So it's not anything about the headers I'm crying about.

I got about another hour in me before I have absolutely had it with this car for the night.

I've had my share of installing headers and don't blame you one bit lol. My car will be going to Tasca for the headers That's for damn sure. Thanks for helping me decide completely ;)

Hope the rest goes better and I can't want for you results and review.

Jaime

Well don't let me be the sole reason you're turned off from doing it yourself. I am notoriously short on patience with horsesh*it and I stopped wrenching on anyone else's cars but the closest of friends years ago. Much much happier in manufacturing! For the life of me I do not know how some of my buds can do this every day... Much respect for the discipline!

Headers are done. I want to complain that id never do it again but they sure do look sweet in there...

Thank god that's over though. Back to my regular scheduled programming.

Lmao I love your posts of frustration cuz I think every car enthusiast can relate haha. Everything seems so easy and going so smooth, and then there is that one thing...hahaha

Looks great man and can't wait to hear this fire up and hit the road.

I can be pretty dramatic... It's not fun in person haha my friends that were here got tired of listening to me and left a long time ago.

Tomorrow afternoon we will weld up some 3" sections to eliminate the bottle necks.

Now... Will I have it in me to do the clutch still this weekend, or will i push it back a week? Hmmmm

Haha I am the same way man. My friends hate helping me cuz I am a classic snickers diva. (hope that reference stuck)

I say go for the whole thing man! Get that new clutch in and enjoy the car!

Btw I noticed the numbers in your sig, is that this car? I hadn't seen any dyno numbers on here (don't remember any atleast)

Funny reference lol. Yup that's this car! Check out my whipple dyno results thread in the forced induction area to read about it. I'd link you but I'm on my phone here. I will dyno again right away with the headers.
