What is the process for that like? Send the old ones in first I assume? I should probably do that so that I can switch back to 93 and still have enough fuel if I ever want to.
Switch to the 72lb injectors like jmeo suggested. The whipple calibration is far better than even my Lund tune. Whipple's runs more timing and a better A/F. If you don't go with Whipple's, I would recommend Ken Bjonnes at http://www.pbdyno.com/home.html

I already have a base map and nGauge and etc - I have a bit of money invested into Lund.

I do too! But, 16.8 degrees of timing and A/F being around 11.1:1 has made me look elsewhere. I just bought the boost plus so I can monitor my boost on the ngauge. I'm going to keep the ngauge for monitoring only.

Yes Charles,

email [email protected] and ask him about the trade in process. It was what they did for all who already had their kit when they came up with the upgrade.

Ya for pump gas I would stay with Whipple for sure. But my purpose for Lund is for the E85 tuning, which of course he would feel safer to run more aggressive on the timing. I told him I wanted 800rwhp Dynojet STD and he said that shouldnt be a problem and just wanted me to know thats a lot for the stock engine so its at my own risk.

OK I will send an email. I can probably pull my injectors this weekend.

If you still have your 56# from original kit you can trade in for $250
They aren't doing that anymore. I tried to do that myself and was shot down.

I already sent an email but I assume I will get the same response as you.

In that case, it makes the decision easy to proceed forward with my 1000cc and E85.

If you get a different response I would love to know cause I was really hoping to be able to trade in my old injectors as well.

Yeah, I have 1000cc injectors but I am pulling them to run Whipple's tune. Jmeo and gsxr1300 are at 760rwhp with a 3.625 pully on pump. That is amazing! Flight control adjust for different pulleys. 3.5 with VP octanium or in my case meth/water injection:headbang:

Oh, I would talk to Ken Bjonnes if you decide to go e85. He is the one that tuned Kelly's car and Lethal's car. He resently left Lund and opened his own shop. Lund hired some new guy, here is his video.

Do you have a goal rwhp or trap speeds? Whipple tune is traping 134 mph on 93 with the the new software.. Now with the new software and Octane adjust you can use octanium or race gas and you should be able to go faster. Whipple claims 60 rwhp over 91 octane when adding octanium or 100. I would imagine that's around 136-137 mph trap maybe?

I had planned on the e85 route as well with Lund but I'm leaning heavily towards using Whipple now. 134 mph on 93 is no joke.

You guys are making me bounce back and forth all over the place. If just we didnt have to pull the blower to get the passenger side rail out, I could swap injectors regularly and do both.

This is the new guy at Lund, or this is Ken Bjonnes?
