Looking to get clarification on something i was reading on some other post. People were saying that the performance package has spherical bearing upgrades on the rear lower control arms. Can anyone confirm this?

The forward inner connection is a bushing, the rear inner is a spherical bearing. I believe this is for every GT PP or not

I know he was asking about the rear LCA, but I thought he was mistakenly thinking about the toe links for which the GT PP got spherical bearings and the GT got rubber bushings. I was not aware that the rear LCA rear bushing is a spherical on a GT PP. I thought only the Shelby cars got that.

One of them is a bushing (and you can buy a spherical aftermarket part from Steeda, BMR and just about anyone else). Other one is a spherical bearing.

PP toe link has a spherical bearing while non-PP one does not (but both knuckles have a bushing which can be replaced with an aftermarket Ford Performance bearing.

I did some searching on the forum and I do see people confirming that there is a spherical bearing in the rear position of the rear lower control arm. However, it seems that this is standard at least for GT's. KilluminatiDre, if you're looking to upgrade a bushing thinking your car doesn't have a spherical bearing, you should look under your car and verify what's on there.

Thanks for the info everyone. So i was aaking because im planning on clocking my suspension bushings this weekend and looking at other post some would say the pp cars have some spherical bearings in some places but no one would actually clarify and would someone would ask for clarification there would be no answer. I was hoping that awkward 24mm bolt in the rear that needs 166 ft pounds was spherical but looks like its not. I got my car undercoated as soon as i picked it up from the dealer and they got that stuff everywhere lol
