I have a 2015 ecoboost mustang and am looking to get some used performance pack wheels off of a Gt. I have the stock 18' wheels and I am worried that the difference in weight will make a big differe in acceleration and over all feel. Can someone who has done this comment on the differences?

Going from 235 to 275/255 wide staggered will add some grip and less wheelspin when accelerating hard. Esp if you choose summer tires that come from Ford or better than PZero summers.

I went from base GT 18" 235 Pzero Neros to PP rims/Pzeros bought barely used from another member on here for pretty cheap. It was a quite noticeable upgrade.

They are heavy and many recommend going aftermarket for rims. You wouldn't notice it.

What about going with the Ecoboost Performance pack wheels? Same size as the front GT PP wheel (19x9). Slightly narrower than the GT PP rear wheels which are 9.5" wide. The EB PP tires are 255 all around I believe, whereas the GT PP has 275 rears. They might be harder to find used though. Plus, according to the what things weigh thread, the GT PP front/rear wheels weigh the same despite being 1/2" wider in the back. The extra few lbs will come from the bigger tire.

I'm going to be selling my PP1 wheels as well as front tires as I'm going aftermarket squared set up.

What do you think is a fair price for the whole set minus rear tires? (Wheels are perfect currently like new at 500 miles)

You won't really notice much. Tires weight something too and those big aspect ratio tires start adding up. It'll be negligible.

Even another 100 lb (some pretty heavy wheels and tires) comes out to maybe 3% of the total weight of the car. Rotational weight does count more than static weight but any change in acceleration is still probably something we would never notice.
