Hello everyone. Some of you may have seen my post the other day about a very unhappy installation with my steeda suspension.
mechanic I took it to said he can’t put the new steeda adjustable swaybar endlinks on my car because of the way the swaybar is positioned.
you can see the swaybar end where it is plugged into, isn’t flat and parallel to the control arms like it should be.
now it was brought to my attention by the steeda rep who sold me this suspension, that’s the performance pack swaybars are binded to the bushings. I guess my real concern now is how did the previous owner bend the swaybar to fit the old tiny swaybar endlinks for the coilovers I had?
I’m going back to the shop today and gonna see if we can install the steeda ones. Because I can’t keep driving it like this.
the alignment shop I was going to take it to basically told me to fuck off and be doesn’t want another mechanics sloppy seconds work.
I suppose I could buy an aftermarket swaybar (I’d rather not atm considering I have already spend near $2200 for all the parts and install already.
would I be ok disconnecting the swaybar endlinks for a few days? What do I do??
