I've had issues since I got the kit. Have not been able to make it through 3 consecutive gears ever without having an issue. Could the knock sensors be picking up the bypass valve noise? I had issues with it before so would not be surprised. Have gone 1200 miles.

I swear they were no longer than 10 seconds.
Idk why when I open it it makes me scroll to the right several pages to see the full rpm band. Other logs seem to be all in one page like a dyno sheet.

knock is not a tune issue

knock is either a fuel quality / or a physical issue of something causing nvh.

either way, it is what we would call a "mechanical" issue.

the 3 things we typically try are

1) add a can of torco or octanium to 1/2 tank, or 2 cans to a full tank.

run and relog, if timing goes up, it's a fuel issue

2) oil seperator, if oil gets in, it can change the fuel quality

get an oil seperator, and relog.

3) headers or something else during the install are causing something to hit / touch / vibrate, resonate, somewhere.

go through the steps and see what happens

i think we were exchanging emails earlier today

The pipe coming up from the right side of the intercooler has a wear mark on it from where it has been rubbing the metal. It seems to be a bit loose and is not only touching the intake heat shield a little, but also the metal to the right of it. Could this be causing the car to pull timing because
Lund said it was false knock.

I definitely vote for an external source for your knock. But like others have said. You have had these problems through I would wager quite a few tanks of gas. So I would almost rule that out. Could be a bad injector, or just something banging around the engine. Time to role up your sleeves and start ruling out one thing after the other.

It's almost certainly something making the ECU think it's knocking. Definitely sounds like a candidate.

Tightening it up this afternoon along with checking exhaust pipes and everything as well.

If you have headers check AC line bolt on passenger side. You'll see it sticking out. I used a hacksaw to trim mine down.

I don't have headers, just a catback. Thinking it could either be the right side pipe that's touching the metal, or could be that my exhaust has came loose since it has done it before. Also, My coilovers make a sound when they hit the bump stops so i'll tighten the shocks and raise it a bit. After those are checked, i would hope the problem would go away. Buying octane booster anyway just in case though.
