Paxton install thread

I thought I would start a different thread for my Paxton install. My kit should arrive this Thursday and the install shortly after. Today, I had a base line dyno run done to establish my starting point. I put down 329 hp / 301 tq on a Mustang Dyno. Low numbers but I knew that going in. I figured by testing before and after on the same dyno would provide the same percentage increase no matter which dyno is available for others when they test.

The kit is the Beefcake Special.
Paxton 2200 Polished kit
Vortech standard BAP
ID 1000s
SCT X4 / Lund
1 heat range colder plugs
JLT 2015 Blow through
Vortech 3.6 pulley
Remote tuning session

I plan on posting pics of the install and the end dyno results.

BTW, patience is not a virtue of mine. Come on Thursday!

Why are your numbers so low. Is it because its a mustang dyno?

our auto only dyno'd 340's stock....

now it's the quickest one out there

I wasn't too disappointed with the numbers. It was 100* in his shop and the car has 500 miles on it. I am sure these played a factor but it was primarily for a base line to see the increase after the kit is installed.

A little set back, my kit came in but it was satin instead of polished. I figure Paxton just pulled the wrong kit and shipped it out. I have spoke with Terry he has been very helpful with getting in touch Paxton to coordinate a resolution. I am waiting to hear from Paxton to see how they want to handle correcting the problem.

Everything in the kit looked great aside from the finish.

I'm going to pick up the polished kit too, though if this happened to me I'd probably just ask them to refund me the extra cost for polished, then go get some black spray paint and make it blend it. Mainly because I'm incredibly impatient haha hopefully you can get it back quick
