Hey everyone, so I traded in a 16’ manual car for an automatic due to a knee injury unfortanately. Although I am excited to go faster haha.

Anyway, I pulled the Paxton kit off the manual car which I had no problems installing it on, or pulling it off of, Im on the very last steps of installing on the automatic and for some reason, I can’t fit the head unit with the throttle body spacer provided by Paxton. It doesn’t even come close, I can fit the throttle body without the spacer, but no dice with the spacer. I’m running an 18’ manifold, is the spacer even really necessary? I’ve included pictures to how far off I really am. I’m not sure how it’s even possible. Any advice is appreciated.

Just for my own mind I went back and looked at pictures of the manual car, and boy was it close, but I’m 100% I was able to remove the throttle body without touching the head unit,

Still that’s pretty good, that’s the same setup I was running on my MT, the Auto has everything except for longtubes. So once I get those out we’ll be hopefully hitting the track.

Ran 18 manifold with Paxton on my last car, I did not use the spacer, TB went right on the manifold itself
Thank you, It seems that it’s okay, I’m still gonna contact beefcake and see if I can get the correct adaptor, but now I don’t feel so OCD about bolting straight to the manifold

Mine would'nt fit with 18' mani, installed without. made 750 whp.
Ik this is old, but how did you fit it without the spacer? I have an 18 manifold on my 16 and the throttle body hits the coolant hose that ys off into the thermostat and radiator.

Hmm odd, I had to buy a steeda spacer to get mine to fit and even that was close.
