Hey all, I recently had a Paxton kit installed and a new clutch. The car has been running fine on the base tune while shifting at low RPM’s to get the clutch broken in. Yesterday though the car just fell on its face while driving and wouldn’t accelerate unless I took my foot off the throttle and then got back on and then it would lay over again. I parked the car and later on noticed my brake lights were on and my brake pedal was hard even with the car running. I data logged the issue and sent it in but do y’all think the two issues are related?

I see the video highlighting one possible issue and solution.

Is the car idling OK? Sound OK under the hood?

Any chance of a vacuum leak, something worked loose from the recent mods?

Or by coincidence, a failed brake booster?

Everything looked fine under the hood, but dude I read the comments on that video and they said that issue will cause a loss of acceleration and throttle issues

Thats happened to me and some of the mustang guys I know. Kinda annoying, car accelerates to about 50mph then you lose throttle until it slows down to 35-40 then gives you throttle again, so on and so forth. car is just confused that accelerator and brakes are applied at the same time at higher speeds.

Agreed. It's like the brakes are partially applied.

Yeah that’s what happened to me, I’m in a manual so my speed was a little lower than 😂. I already emailed my tuner about it and sent logs cause I panicked. I seen ford actually issued a recall for it too

Of course I get to work right when I find out this info so I’ll have to wait to confirm when I get home. Make me wonder though if Ford issued a recall over this issue then they should have the part available to sell
