I'm with you man. Just did a quick little trip of 250 highway miles yesterday. Stayed in 6th the entire time other than on-ramps, etc. I don't know why people think 6th is too slow. Maybe if you have the 3.15 or 3.31 gears. I have the 3.55s and it's effortless to go from 65 to 80 like you say. Those with the PP and 3.73s it should be even easier. It's far from lugging.For me I say that if you press on the accelerator and the car doesn't immediately show a sign of speeding up you are lugging the engine. I was going 65 in 6th and when I pressed on the pedal it got to 80 in around 4 seconds. It was effortless.
