Anyone else have problems getting the tips to stay aligned in the rear valence ? Driver side seems ok but can't seem to keep passenger side center. Any adjustment tips ? Running stainless works catback.

It helps to have one person (or more) tighten and the other say where it is OK. It took some retightening and adjusting to get the the tips right on my install.

It's a pain in the ass I'll think I have it moved then after a few days it'll be super close to the left side or resting on it...I guess I'll be fucking with it yet again tom..I'll try loosening it further back pwrhaps

I bought stainless step clamps from Jegs and never looked back. They have a better holding ability than the clamps that come with most exhaust clamps.

These, and they are only $9.00

They have all sizes. I replaced every clamp on my car and now it's as tight as permanently welded connections.

I can't for the life of me align mine to sit perfectly... My drivers side is going to be forever touching my rear valence it seems. I can get the passenger one perfect, but theres basically no room to budge on the drivers side, and i've loosened and moved almost everything. Debating bringing it to an exhaust shop to have the tip cut and fixed for me so it sits where it should.

I've had problems with my Borla S Types. Drivers side is fine and has been since day 1, but no matter how much I tighten the passenger, there's still a little play in it.
When you start up the car, you can the see the passenger exhaust jiggle a little bit. No amount of tightening has fixed it so far.
The passenger side also sticks out a little farther then the driver's side, but only noticeable to me, by ~3/8 of an inch difference.

When I had my H-pipe made, the guy put his tape measure on the exhaust tips to show me the sloppy, misaligned factory fit with the rear valence. Before he welded the H-pipe together, he used his pole jack and got everything squared away.
