Tips for removing Passenger side Cat Bolt

How the $#$% do you get to that bolt? Spent an hour trying combinations to get at it.

Anyone who has removed their cats know what I am talking about. :frusty:

The passenger side is easiest from the top, but requires 2 people. Like mine with cat deletes it can be done from below without the cat in the way.

i tried different combinations from the top, but couldnt do it by myself. Real pain in the ass.

did you use swivel?

did you use swivel?
yes. several extensions and a swivel. but you need someone on the bottom to guide the socket onto the bolt, and hold the other side from spinning.

Got it, borrowed a neighbor. needed a little more extension. two pairs of hands is what was needed

I broking a universal after twisting the hell out of three extensions. Ended up using a half-moon ratcheting wrench.

In the future, and it requires more time, remove the battery and battery heat shield for the easiest access.
