I haven't done them yet myself but I believe I read that the best way to get it is from the top. You have to remove part of the battery compartment.

I got it from the top with a combination wrench. It took some patience and a lot of skin.

If your doing it on jack stands, try rotating your entire body to another location under the car. I had to move myself to different sides to make it easier to get to some bolts. Also strong alcohol works wonders. I had a bottle of Sake. Not a small bottle either.

lol, I just need to get past this damn ac line and I'm good to hook

I did mine by standing in front of the car and reaching right underneath the radiator hose. Swiveling, ratcheting wrench is a must.

Yes. I had a jack under the bellhousing. Don't go crazy jacking the motor up. People have broken the IMRC sensor on the back of the intake cramming it into the firewall.

Oh, and now is the time to address that A/C stud on the passenger-side frame rail so it doesn't hit the header primaries.;)

I didn't bother taking the stud out when I did my install, I left the stock hardware in the top fwd part of the engine. replaced the rest with supplied hardware, it saved a little bit of headache

what do you mean with the ac stud?
