The outer led on one of the parking lights is blinking/strobing, does it when the car is ru ning or off but it doesn't do it all the time. Can anyone shed some light on what the issue may be and will I need to remove the bumper to access it. Thanks.

Maybe a loose bulb. You can access it by removing the three push pins on the wheel well guard that are towards the front of the car at the bottom

LED, yes. My front parking lights are LED. Dealer is an option but I'd like to at least look into it myself and not take it to the dealer if I don't have to.

Your front parking lights are LED?
If I remember right the front parking lights are not LED from factory.
If your aftermarket LED is flicking it's probably the PWM circuit is bad in the bulb.

Well I was thinking the same thing, they sure look LED, I'll see if I can figure out if they are factory or not.

There is a Ford oval logo inside the light, can't tell if it's in the lens or the housing

Ok, figured it out. The previous owner installed diode dynamic bulbs. Now to order some replacements.

Since we are in the topic of LED's and I don't want to start a new topic. Can anyone tell my why my ambient/dome lights won't change color. They are stuck on purple and the drivers side is intermittent.

Those are not ambient lights. Likely after market LEDs too.

Ok, just to clarify, they should always be white when lit?, are they at least supposed to be LED ?
During the daytime the dash changes to white, and night you can configure the ambient lighting and dash lighting and make it any color you'd like.

As mentioned, your ambient lighting is probably aftermarket, and its stuck on one light color. Unless its a multi color and your missing the controller.

Sorry for this to be so confusing, what's in question is the dome lights, all the other interior lighting works fine. The dome lights are purple and don't change color with the rest of the interior lighting. My question is should my dome lights change color at night as well or are they supposed to be white all the time. The other reason for bringing this up is that the drivers side dome light is intermittent.

The dome lights are not LED from the factory (nor are the visor lights or glove box light); If you have purple LED lights, they're after market. You can buy a kit fairly inexpensively and swap them all to cool white.
