The parking brake on my '17 GT Premium (non-PP) has been useless for the last month, or since I got the car. I've adjusted the 10mm nut under the car for the cable's adjustment, the handle itself is nice and tight and even a struggle to pull all the way to the end of its travel, but the car still rolls back on nearly any incline, steep or slight. As a result I always park in gear but it'd be nice to the parking brake take some of the weight off the gearbox and actually work.
To my mind it's gotta be the cables, pads, or even a need for adjustment at the rear calipers. Which would be the most likely culprit in this case?
