Looking at a 2015 GT. I've been reviewing the forums for misc. info. I'm mostly concerned with panel alignment issues. I've read about an issue with the rear driver's side window but I'm not sure what to look for exactly. The GT I'm looking at doesn't seem too bad (door gaps a little big, trunk sits a little high) but I am disappointed with these issues. The build date is 1/2015. Thanks

With the rear window you want to look at the brake light that is above the rear window. The gap on either side of mine is lopsided

Thanks . I thought it was the side window being lower and was trying to figure out what that meant.

What to look for....

There are so many points you should look at. If you are not sure, ask someone to come with you or walk away.

There are 3 main points:
Rear window.

Trunk lid:

Hood, front fascia and bumper:

Also look at both doors:

That's the most important spots you should look at. And DO NOT believe your dealer that this can be easily fixed. It can't be fixed if the Mustang you are looking at has 2 or more of this points, without taking it in parts in the body shop. My body shop couldn't fix it at all and my car looked like this:

I hope it helps a bit.

I'll give her one more 'once over' and then decide. I guess I may end up waiting another year. Good info on this site. thanks
