Did you take all the wheels off at once or what method worked best for you?

Some have said to pick up a sponge style brush for the g2 kit. Are people just putting the brembo decals on the front calipers(I'd assume this)
As you can see, I pulled all four wheels and replaced as much hardware as I could with bolts from the hardware store, wrapped in Teflon tape; I hung the calipers with mechanic's wire to paint. What hardware I didn't replace, such as the rear bleeder bolts (they are a different size), I painstakingly taped off. I tried taping them while installed, but realized that it just wasn't going to cut it for me after about 5 minutes.

I had to buy a pressurized bleeding kit to reassemble, but I succeeded in my goal of getting a finish that anyone who didn't know I had applied it would assume was stock.

Damn that looks good. Dunno if I want to get into bleeding the brakes and all. May try to just do them on the car. Thanks for the pics and info.

A buddy of mine did these on a cadillac ctsv. I was going to powder coat until he showed me this. Just had to take the wheels off, mask off rotors and spray:

The only issue is he said the blue coating was a clear blue coat, being that the base color on the cadillacs brake was a light silver, the blue showed through pretty good while leaving the V logo still visable. I don't know if we will get the same results on our performance pack brembos. If someone wishes to try it, i attached a photo of the products.

I would powdercoat them instead. Expensive yet will look better and more durable.

Ive used both the Dupli-color and the G2. They both work in the same fashion. I prefer the G2 becuase of the 1000's of color options they have, but if you are wanting a standard red/yellow/black/silver color then either of them work pretty well.

They are very easy to do yourself and require no dis assembly of the caliper itself. Juts mask off the rotors and other areas you don't want paint and start the process! I actually have some lime green G2 caliper paint coming in today. ill post pics and maybe a video of the process once I complete the work.

Where i bought mine from: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XUQT976?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

should match really well with the stripes I just had put on too.

I've always just used the brush in the kit and it has turned out really well. Might try the sponge brush this time too.

If you are going to go through the trouble of taking the brakes off the car, just get them powder coated. If not, G2 would be the second best option.

I tested this paint on my test caliper and it came out pretty good but I can't imagine the amount of work to mask the 6 pot on the car to spray paint.

So is anyone that is doing this putting the Brembo logo's back on the brakes for the PP? if so how are you doing it, just getting a vinyl sticker printed out putting that on then putting a clear over it? Or are you just leaving that off all together?

Thanks. That is pretty interesting. Never thought that type of vinyl would handle those kind of temps, but I guess unless you are tracking the car they wouldn't get super hot. Just thought they would start to peel or crack.

I finally got around to painting my calipers and putting the video together. Ill make a DIY as well for future help. This shows you how to paint the calipers as well as apply caliper decals.

Pics at the end of the video
