Show off your painted calipers.
GT350 coming in a few weeks and I want to lighten the wheel color and paint calipers.

Looking for ideas.

I was quoted about $350 for powder coating. I spent $40 for the G2 paint. here is the result.

I went with the G2 kit and custom made brembo high heat stickers, i think it came out awesome and exactly the look i wanted. It helps when the brakes your painting are actually brembos... so you should be fine.

With the G2 paint, can you see any brush strokes after it dries?

No, they smooth out - one of the nice things about epoxy based paints like this!

Can you or anyone, gives me an idea how much I will need to do all 4 brakes?
What is the best brand/kit out there? I think that since my car is almost brand new (only 400 miles) I should have very little prep to do.
Another question: How durable are the brake caliper cover and if there is anyone making for the '16 mustang with 19ing wheels? (PP no Brembo's).
Thanks.

The wife asked about yellow calibers and I emailed a couple of companies that do the aluminum covers. I was quoted $316 and $350 for custom colors. That was the end of that mod idea. I really don't want to paint them but still like the idea.

Dont get caliper covers please. The G2 kits can be purchased on tirerack.com, the one kit will be enough for front and back.

BTW, you guys know those 4 piston brakes are not Brembo's right? I think they are Continental made, still a quality product just figured I'd mention in as Im seeing a lot getting painted and logo'd.
I would just go with a mustang decal or something of the sort, no need to false advertise.
