Paint is chipping off my 2015 GT, is there a related TSB or recall out there? Looked but couldn't find one, any assistance is much appreciated.

Paint chipping off from rock chips because you ride too close behind people? Large paint chips just flaking off like old painted wood?

Paint chipping off rear bumper, large flake...Looks like paint did not adhere to surface.

Got pics??
Location of the chipped pain begs the quesrion did I hit something or did something hit me? There are no scuff marks or indentation on the bumber.

Just seeing if anyone has the same issue?

Okay that definitely doesnt look like something you caused. If you take it in and show that you shouldnt get much flack about fixing it under warranty, provided you dont get some advisor with a stick up his ass. Anything that COULD knock that much paint off would have left a dent, spider cracking and possibly a scratch hitting the area outside that large chunk. Know this, you have a harder color to match being its very similar steps to a tri-coat if i recall right. You may not be very pleased with the respray. They will probably need to paint more than the bumper to get a good match depending on miles and sun exposure and talent or lack there of. However i expect them to try and get away with just the bumper. Also know bumpers (plastic) doesnt take paint the same way a metal panel will. There will be some slight color difference, it should be minimal in the right hands. Look for fish eye (paint contamination) and paint runs or globbing build ups. Please pardon my paint explanation if you arent new to paint.

Appreciate the information and I do realize paint match will be difficult. I don't want the dealership to touch the car but much OCD will not allow me to over look it.
