Does anyone have any information pertaining to what causes this?

P061B - Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance

Anyone had this issue and had it rectified?

I've been experiencing this issue intermittently for the past 6 weeks and there doesn't seem to be much info on how to go about fixing it or if it's caused by a tune or what parameters inside of the tune could cause it.

I'm just trying to gather as much info as I can to get to the bottom of this.

The issue started immediately after installing my tune / intake tube w/ restrictor removed onto my air raid intake. It first appeared less than 3 mins into my first Drive. PrIor to that I've put 5000km on the car without a single code/issue.

I've reflashed the tune multiple times, disconnect the battery to reset the ecu, taken apart the intake multiple times to look for anything out of the ordinary, cleaned the MAF sensor.

The car just falls on its face the wrench pops up and P061B is the code. Sometimes the code will come back after I clear it within a few minutes and sometimes it won't appear for a week and 250km.

Hopefully someone has something/anything about this.

Thanks all.

OP, does the car run normally when on the stock tune?

Also, I would datalog your tune, and send your log to your tuner. Sounds like a tune issue.

OP said when he clears the code, it can pop up after 250km (155 miles). I am assuming he can drive the car with the code, which is why I mentioned datalogging.

Datalogging unfortunately isn't an option with my tuner :(

It ran normally for 5000km before the tune. Then after the tune it popped up first Drive.

That's going to be my next step to put the car back to stock tune. I couldn't do this until now becuase I had my air raid tube modified and my new unmodified one just recently arrived in the mail.

I'm pretty confident I wont get it with the stock air raid intake/tube and tune since I never got it before the tune ever.
But like.I said that'll be my next step.

I can drive with the code but it's in limp mode until i restart the car

I would honestly cough up the money for another tune with a different tuning company. I am not hating on Livernois by any means, but not being able to datalog sucks!

Try a flex fuel tune from Lund and see what happens.

I would be on the phone with Livernois trying to track down the problem.

That's a code thrown by your MAF. Do you have the oiled air filter or the dry version? Either way, get a can of MAF cleaner and spray the MAF sensor (removed from intake of course). If it's a oiled filter, it may be too saturated.

That code can also be thrown if the MAF is reading turbulent air. This can be cause by air bypassing the filter (clamp too loose.)

Both done multiple times. I've cleaned the MAF and it's connector 3x and have had the intake apart the same amount of times. I've replaced all the clamps, grommets as well as all the silicone couplers and such. Besides the airbox/filter everything has been swapped with new parts to try to rectify this. I'm 100% confident it's not turbulent / unmetered air.

My filter isn't oiled either.

Mine has been doing the same thing. It's only happening to me while idling in traffic with a lot of stop and go. All of a sudden the wrench pops up, erratic idle, and it stalls. Shut it off, restart and fine for a long time. It has only happened in traffic after idling and pulling slowly forward. So I'm assuming its heat related or whatever. Im going to clean the maf and check all my connections. If that doesn't work, I'll order another maf sensor to try.

Error Code P061B: Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance

this is an error code after a tune caused because the ECU sees more torque/HP than stock. the drive by wire system is calculating the expected torque, if the engine produces more than expected you get an error code. raising the allowable wheel torque error will help you avoid the DBW errors

Had the same code and kept throwing a wrench, turned out I had corrosion on the maf, replaced it and all was fixed.
