Anyone else get a p0430 CEL for no obvious reason? I'm fairly stock (no tune or headers, just a catback for past 15K+ miles) and the p0430 CEL just came on.

I'm thinking of just clearing it to see if it comes back. What am I looking for on my scanner or the dash diagnostic mode to see if the rear sensor is working? I don't feel like spending the day at the dealer just to hear everything is fine.

I think a bad catalytic converter. Hopefully they take care of it under warranty.

Ok, so a quick update. The CEL went away by itself after 4 days (about 400-500 miles). I brought the car in today to get checked and the drivers side cat is shot. I'm not sure why it crapped out after only 22K miles or so, but at least it's covered.
