Noob question, but are the ARH long tube? and I really don't want to run cats because as lame as some might think it is, I want that lund ghost cam tune haha and can't run cats with that.
Im not sure if any one is running those cam tunes yet,but if they do yes u have to have no cats.

I have a cam tune and catless x-pipe, and my O2s will set to ready with those defoulers I mentioned. You may have to switch to the regular idle tune to make them reset, but mine did it on the lope tune as well.

How do you like the cam tune? Any issues? Also any downsides to that defouler? does it hurt the accuracy of the AFR?

It doesn't hurt the wide band readings because it's only on the rears. The rear sensors only read lean or rich, the fronts are the ones that read actual lambda/AFR.

I like the lope tune a lot, and I get plenty of compliments on the way it sounds. The only drawback is that it uses more fuel at idle. It also smells of raw fuel more at idle, but I run E85, so it doesn't smell as badly as gasoline.

Awesome!
If you ask me, the smell of raw fuel isn't a bad one haha. Can't wait to get mine rumbling. I heard one in person on a 2014 and loved it.

No problem! For the record, I use Shaun@AED. I don't know if he's doing 2015 tunes yet, but I highly recommend his tuning. My car has been running like a champ, and Shaun has been great for support, quick responses to questions, and fast turnaround on tune revisions.

Thanks man! I will probably go with Lund but if I have issues I will keep him in mind.

I had a vendor tell me that the high flow cats are pretty damn efficient and only are a 1-3 hp loss vs the off road catless headers. I'm not sure it's worth all the headache to pass emissions catless over 1-3 hp if that's true.

For me it's more of an issue that I can't run the lope tune with CATs.

It's true that the difference between high-flow cats and off-road is negligible, but then so is their efficiency in actually cleaning up emissions. you'll need the same tricks to pass emissions with high-flow cats as you would going off-road. I've been doing it for the last few years and it's still a pain with the right tune and non-foulers.

Can't run a lope tune with stock cats as they are ceramic. High-flow cats are metallic and not really affected by lope tunes, being that they don't really do much in the first place other than cutting down on some smell and noise.

You are pretty close. Yes the non-foulers only go on the rear O2 sensors, however they don't read AFR at all. The rear O2 sensors are for catalyst efficiency only. The fronts do all the AFR readings.

This makes no sense. You are saying running high-flows gave you fault codes and you think going off-road would not? P0420/0430 fault codes occur with the removal of the factory cats. You will have these fault codes either way unless your tune has the rear O2 sensors disabled or you are using non-foulers.

SO you are saying I could run hi-flo cats and be fine with lope tune? Also are defoulers something they usually check for? I know it varies state to state but it seems like NV pretty much just does a sniff test and if you pass that with no codes you are good.
