Kingsford maccas drive through
The 'Stang has been beneficial to my waistline.

1) I refuse to take it through any drive-thru in fear of kerb rash; and

2) I also walk to the station and catch a lot more trains than I used to - especially when I know that my intended destination does not provide risk (ding)-free parking.

I think it's been beneficial to my mental health.

Not feeling well? Go for a drive.
Hard day at work? Unleash the corsa banshee.
Long day at work, have to go home and do uni assignment? A little mustang procrastination never hurt anybody (ok not so productive, stress relief nonetheless)

The visibility over the bonnet! I've discovered the fear!
We've got a local supermarket driveway that pitches up before going underground, so its like a long speedbump, at the top of it you're looking at the ceiling, and you know there's a curb on either side of you that you can't see AT ALL. It's a horror!

It gets worse, you then descend down into a carpark with some of the tightest spots ever marked in a car with a huge turning circle and get aural abuse from the reverse parking sensors telling you about all the sh*t you're barely missing in order to squeeze in!

You do get used to the bonnet visibility, after parking 3 feet away from things a few times, because you think you are about to squash the front of the car ,haha,. But it is easier to just reverse park where possible, the rear camera is really good.

and yeah I avoid badly designed car-parks and all drive-throughs to avoid Hulk anger due to poorly designed, narrow curbs. (also no food in the stang so that makes that easier!)

Spotted at Pacific Ford Performance day Will (@WILDB from this forum), among a group of new mustangs on display. Busily cleaning sprayed exhaust carbon off the front grille, kindly donated from the adjacent classic mustang. Hope you get to leave first mate. Looked immaculate Will.

Just spotted Silver Mustang plates MustangJ or similar and 30 seconds later a RR turbo on Frankston Dandy road heading towards Frankston. I always see Mustangs when driving my XR6 but never in the Muzy.

Don't worry, wasn't my car. My friend was nice enough to drive me there (I was quite drunk). Also too many cops congregate there, and I'm too scared they'll pick me up for the exhaust lol

Thanks Russ, it was good to catch up. I was lucky enough to get a gap after a couple of cars left, so I was out of the firing line of the old 66.

Saw a black EB convertible with white stripes and silver wheels in my car park today.

Am hoping it's a regular!

Will keep my patience at bay until mine arrives.

On Sunday I went for a drive in the Mustang, with my family to a nice restaurant by the water (more on that later) and lo and behold, there was a Mustang already there!

After a bit of food I went back to the car to get a jacket out, and the car parked next to the TY had left, so I took the opportunity to join it...

Eventually the pilot turned up, so I paused lunch and went and had a chat - they were being lent it by a friend! Their own Ruby Red was still a way off. Good friend :)

Another (older) couple took a few snaps of the Mustangs and told me that they had a friend who was a mad Mustang fan, it was his birthday and they were sending him some snaps as a birthday present.
Their friend had previously owned a Ford GT (!) but had sold it to buy a caravan to do some roadtripping around AU.
Good taste :) (well, the GT and the Mustangs, anyway)

Finally, I got talking to the owner of the restaurant, and he often has car clubs and events there (Alfa 4C had some kind of launch event there, for example), and (of course) he was keen to see a Mustang showing there, being a Mustang fan himself...

So after we get the other Sydney meet/cruise out of the way, I'll start getting some details together for a meet/cruise to this restaurant and we can get some more nice pics of the Ponies at the watering hole :D
