I know nobody likes the "my colour is better" discussions but I think the darker colours Magnetic, Black work better than the reds with the clear taillights.
Ive tinted the tails black/smoke and it works well IMO with the Magnetic.

I don't disagree :)
I think they'd look good on the red cars too.

Amazing how much the activity has picked up on this thread - must be a lot of Mustangs in the country now :headbang:

Heh, I'm afraid I respectfully disagree, at least with the stock black wheels that is. I think the Red lights with Ruby Red paint clashes too much and looks a lot worse than the clears. However, on Magnetic I feel the reds look better than the clears as they don't stand out so much. ;)

I don't disagree with that either :)

Comparing both cars with clears, I think the Magnetic wears it better.
Smoked looks better on both ;)

If you blokes had done the right thing in the first place and ordered a guard green with nickel rims you wouldn't be arguing which combos are better because that one is just the best haha :headbonk:

Oops, yours is Guard.

On my work PC it looked very much Magnetic! :headbonk:
On my home PC it is clearly Guard...

Well in that case, I think Guard wears it better

That looks awesome, a clear winner combination in my book. How much does the tint affect the brightness of the lights?

I doubt your Deep Impact Blue will be an August build, as that colour is being discontinued in early June.

Do you have the NSC code for your order? If not, give your Dealer a call and get them to tell you what it is. Then I'd suggest you get onto Ford Australia on Facebook and ask them the status of your order, mentioning that you have Deep Impact Blue on order.

Some people on this forum who have that colour ordered have received advice that their build has been moved forward to late may production. I've heard that some may have been asked to change their colour, but that's indirect information and I can't recall anyone specifically saying that it happened to them.

Let us know how you get on
Thanks Frostee.

I placed my order for my DIB GT Mustang early September 2015. I have managed to get my code and enquired with Ford Australia on Facebook, they still maintain that it will be an August build and I should contact them in July to get an update. I also contacted my dealership who has informed me that the ETA is the 1st two weeks in September. So now I am confused because the timing does not add up. From my understanding it is roughly a three month turnaround. I agree it would make sense to clear the now obsolete colours before the new mustang colours are produced.
