That wasn't me!!!! :frusty:

Seriously. I'd own up to it if it was.

Like I said, I want a proper white one anyway rather than this off-white one so it's not so bad.
Ha ha, I thought that might get a response. Quite honestly, I am glad you pointed it out as I will be extra careful when I fit mine! (although I would like to think I wouldn't make the same mistake).

A good tester then, and a solid job done might I add, really liking it.... Got me thinking of customising my own, damn you :frusty:!

I like it and seems very professional, you could start a small business sorting customers knobs out :eyebulge:
And a side business doing the same ;)!

Funnily enough a business opportunity did occur to me whilst doing this. Not involving customer's knobs.

I shall do some research and report back. ;)

Is it making puddle lamps that work? I'll buy one

Great work though on the knob, never heard of "waterslide decal paper" but obviously good stuff! Impressive work...

This photo gives a better impression of just of how gloss and "factory" the finish is. It honestly looks like it's all painted on there and then has a clear coat over the top even though it doesn't.

As I said, turned out even better than I'd could've imagined. :)

Centurion07 that looks freaking amazing, good job matey.

Now you just need a teeny tiny see through 'martini' logo ;)....

Here's some OCD for you...

ideally this is what I wanted for the outside (mocked-up during the 11-month wait!):

but I thought two lots of "racing" would look a bit silly, so went with Martini as then the stripes would make sense and not just look like go-faster stripes. Gutted really as I think the Ford ones on the front look kickass!

To that end, I can't have the Ford Racing logo AND a Martini logo in the same vicinity.

I just think the martini stripes work with the tribar so ties in nicely. You could put ford racing banner on the top window, or rear window, or just a small sticker with it in? Maybe. If you wanted to go that far.

Wonder how hard it'd be to get a tiny aston martin logo just to place it on your knob to finish it off... but maybe that's why you're referencing the 'Two racing teams in one location' as you r knob has ford racing on it...#Ramble.
