2. don't leave any tools on the inner wing as they may (will) end up falling down the MASSIVE gap between inner and outer wing and you'll have to pull the arch liner out to retrieve said tool:

Reminds me of the time I used to work as a truck mechanic.
I had spent much of the day fitting tyres (manually, we had no clever machines) and also carried out a couple of services.
At the end of the day I was clearing up the bosses tools and realised one of his snap on screwdrivers was missing. Looked everywhere for it and of course, I got blamed.

A week or so later I went out to change a rear wheel on one of the trucks. He had a flat tyre on the back. I changed the wheel and loaded the wheel in the back of the van.

No-one could quite figure out how a screw driver had imbedded its self in the tyre handle first. A mystery that only the boss and I will ever work out....and you guys!

I had the same issue with the Redline struts; mine were slightly less mis aligned. My solution was to file the bonnet hinge flush , so that the redline bracket could locate in the proper position to align the washer pipe locating lug.
So, I filed down this area detailed below, so the surface was flush . It's not so clear from the picture , but in my case I needed to lose ~1 mm of the protruding surface of the bonnet hinge assembly to allow the redline bracket to rotate fully into position .

That was what I was considering before I had dig through an old thread.

I'd much prefer to modify the part rather than the car where possible, especially on a painted surface such as this. Plus I think I would've needed to take a good 2/3mm off of mine which is a bit much.

The washer clip lines up perfectly on mine now too.

An update (but not really an update)...

Popped down the coast today to go see a hydrodipping company about getting some bits and bobs dipped in carbon as per this thread: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11996

Going to have the centre console, door handles & surrounds done along with part of the engine cover and maybe the coil covers.

Showed me round the workshop & all the stuff they can dip including doors! As in an actual house door. I'm now going round my own house looking for random objects I think could use a bit of jazzing up! :lol:

Also had notification that my UPR catch can should be delivered tomorrow so will fit that ASAP and then report back in 500 miles or so with how much it's caught.
