Damn you for fitting that deck lid.

I've been deluding myself into thinking that the faux-gas-cap looks just as good, but this comes crashing down when seeing the US version fitted.
I can only see the GT one for almost £500 on AM, can you get that EB version any cheaper? Looks a hell of a lot nicer than the one we got, just wish you could change the badge rather than the entire deck lid

Looks stunning, I did my rear deck lid with running pony same as yours at weekend and looks much better. :)

SSSHHHHHHH! We don't want EVERYONE getting the same one! ;)

It's a huge improvement though isn't it? I hated the faux gas-cap the second I saw it but unlike the clear lights and the wing mirrors which I've grown to tolerate, I still hate the gas-cap just as much.

That said, I dropped my car off this morning for the stripes & left them with the tint kit for the rear lights and rear quarter markers, third brake light & front amber corners. Should be looking kickass in a couple of hours!:hail:

How do you find the near side mirror to use? First time i used it during the test drive i thought it was a bit of a shambles, it was almost like there was a slight angle in the glass making it more of a pain to see properly than anything else, and then with the red plastic catching my eye above the mirror made it more difficult, look forward to seeing the updated pics

Only issue with the mirror, as others have mentioned, is it doesn't quite angle in to the car far enough. I can see the edge of the car but I would prefer it to come in another 5-10 degrees. It's adequate though.

At a builders merchant? ;)
Looking forward to seeing pics. Things look good on white
:p

I guess that's their gear for doing building signage and stuff. They're not a specialist vehicle wrapping firm.

All tints from Anchor room. The front amber corners are the dark IIRC, not the darkest ones they do which look solid. These still allow a small amount of light through.

Red rears and quarter marker:

As you can see, the vinyl still allows the pattern of the reflector to show through:

Front corners:

And finally....the stripes. The reason I bought a white car:

Here's papinist's thread that made the decision for me. Some before, after, and during shots to compare:

Big thanks to that guy as he seems to be doing almost every mod that all us EU owner's have questions about.

Ask him about his impressive broom collection. ;)

Nice! The red rears look better on a white car.
