IMHO, this car UNDERSTEERS heavily. It would require quite a bit of effort to induce even power oversteer.
I am so surprised by this, as I've said mine turns in really well. Even up the hillclimb where there are some seriously tight corners.

Do you have the all-seasons or the summer PZeros? The car does feel a lot better with sticky tires, that's for sure.
All our Oz spec cars have the PP wheels with Zeros. I guess that's a 'summer' tyre. Also Oz spec don't have Torsen diff despite most of the other PP gear. They're fitted with 3.55 gears.

Other thing I've noticed is how well it launches in a straight line.

I completely don't understand advice of throwing parts on the car that fundamentally does not oversteer unless provoked with a throttle.

In addition what Nightmaremoon wrote - if anything, this car understeers in the corners, like most.

I agree 100% that the car understeers, but the rear feels a little vague stock. With the rear locked down it is easier to tell what is happening back there. It is not a matter of adding more understeer.

It's ok to work on corner exit traction. If traction control or lifting is required in order to exit a corner without wheelspin then there's room for improvement in the setup.

I've struggled with trying to improve this the three seasons I've been autocrossing these cars. At this point I'm finally at a point where I could use more power.

More front bar definitely helps with corner exit oversteer. Rear toe-in can help. Adjusting compression and rebound in the shocks can help. Removing compliance in the rubber bushings or replacing them with sphericals makes it easier to control the car.

The best thing I've done so far to address this is going way up with spring rates. I'm currently at wheel rates that are double the factory GTPP rates and the car feels great. Combine that with fat, sticky RE71Rs or RT615K+ tires and I find myself finally wanting more power coming off slow digs in 2nd gear on autocross courses.

Step 1- Don't turn off traction control if you can't control it.
Step 2 - Get rid of the crappy, narrow 235 all season tires.
Step 3 - Control it by modulating the throttle.

One of the best things I ever did was take a course at Spring Mountain. My father and I were invited by Chevy to do one of the Corvette courses they do and they stressed leaving on the traction control, and would talk about how every course they had some guy that's "been driving longer than any of y'all have been alive" and would shut everything off and promptly stuff it in the first or second corner (they said it was usually someone in the ZR1 course).

Instead, they had us push the cars as far as the traction control would allow us. Once we felt the TC holding us back, we could move it to the next level up (from normal to "Race" mode in the case of the Z06s we were using) and so on and so forth. It taught me just how unobtrusive the TC really is until you actually know what you are doing.

The other thing is that with a background in AWD, AWD cars are far more forgiving with the electronics turned off simply because of their nature. A lot of people turn off the "nanny electronics" in their performance AWD and do OK, and then get a performance RWD car and stuff it in a ditch the first time out because the driving dynamics of an RWD are going to be vastly different than AWD, particularly with the "nanny electronics" off.

thats what i meant if he adds less throttle rear mid turn it throws the weight forward
