Ordering a 2020 GT350

Hi all
I am hoping the stars line up and I am able to place an order/pick up a GT350R at the end of this year.
Is it safe to assume that the order banks for 2020 GT350s will be open in late December (if I can get an allocation)?
Not against buying used, just would be cool to order new if I had the opportunity.

They will open sooner than December. They should open soon. IIRC they are usually open in May or June, depending on what Ford decides to do. Hopefully someone with more info than I have will reply.

I am first on the list at the dealer I got my 350 from, if they get an R I’ll take it if not I’ll just keep my 18. But I really want an R in that new orange.

I really wrestle with checking out the leftover R's but maybe its just splitting hairs..

here in NYC theres still at least 3 or 4 of them within a 25 mile radius - that says to me the big $$$ are waiting for the 500s and now may be the time to strike for an R... now or never...

My issue is the R is still at least $10k more and will not go really any faster than my 350... I dont know at this point in the game if its worth the jump without the speed...

Talk to your dealers. Ask around when the banks will be opened and if you can be notified when they open up. And most of all ASK THEM IF THEY ACTUALLY HAVE AN ALLOCATION. DO NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT PUT ANY DEPOSIT MONEY DOWN UNTIL YOU HAVE FILLED OUT THE ORDER FORM AND IT HAS BEEN FILED.
