I give up. I guess if something comes up in local dealer inventory I will look but yesterday after talking to ford rep she told me with my order of 5.0 GT with autmatic and 401A pkg and voice activated nav system w/ 20" wheels that they had not even scheduled production on models with all of my options until January. I am upset that my dealer did not find out this info for me and I had to go to ford myself. Ordered May 22nd thinking I would have mine by now. Anyone that ordered a loaded GT with automatic let me know the status of your order!! Guess nothing to do but wait and watch local orders. Very Sad Bigdaddyhess:thumbdown:

Same here -- loaded GT Premium with automatic. Canceled my order because there's no indication it will be scheduled any time soon. Placed a second order with a bigger dealership, but I'm seriously thinking about just shopping for an Audi S3 or M235i if I can't get the car by January.

Jimmy I feel the same way. Told my wife I would buy a Dodge or Camaro but I know I would be disappointed if not driving my Mustang. We are at the mercy of Ford. Very sad.:shrug:

Jimmy don't do it... Sayville Ford is a huge dealer I bet they will get your car before most other dealers with your options because of the volume that they move... Patience man patience... You can have another car now but when your driving that car come spring and seeing all the other S550 Mustangs you will be wishing you waited.. Btw, did you deal with Jack Frost when you ordered?

Why don't you guys just look around and find one that's in dealer stock. There's plebty to choose from , specially at bigger dealers with big allocations.

Loaded AT GT but with 19's, build date of 10/28 ordered 7/8. Sorry to hear yours is so far out.

Production did not start until August 29.

Did you guys order convertibles? Because those orders are just starting to process now. Job 1 was pretty much all dealer stock ordered fastbacks (which were held for QC).

My dealers first car to come in was a loaded 401a auto with the 20" wheels.

2016 delivery would be a 2016 model not the 2015 you ordered, unless they think they will be that far behind with orders, which seems to me to be a great way to lose business... forever!

I ordered a GT 401A automatic with 20" wheels and every option except the 50th Anniversary package and Recaro seats. The car was assigned a VIN on Thursday. While I don't know its build date yet, I kinda doubt it would be as late as January based on what I've gathered here.

SVTfreak is right, I saw a loaded 50th with 20" wheels just today here in Denver as well, in Ruby red, which is an awesome color BTW, and usually don't like red.
