Order just got delayed for another 2 weeks

My est delivery went from 2/28/19 to 3/14/19. Order was placed on 10/8/18. Anyone else getting delayed?

My ‘19 was supposed to be delivered by 02/05, now sitting in the parking lot at Flat Rock. Was told by salesman that a strike in Mexico regarding steering wheels MAY be holding up my car but not 100% confident on that. No New ETA yet.

And won't be until it's ready to ship. There appears to be no way to track when cars awaiting a steering wheel will actually get them, short of seeing it suddenly switch to "Awaiting Transport".

You need the VIN from the dealer. Once you have it, you can:

• go to https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/ and enter the number, or
• go to https://fmcchat.ford.dxcdynamics.co...974158852&SID=1&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1 and ask them to look it up.

If you have your DORA (order sheet) from when you placed your order with the dealer, it will have the order # and dealer #. You can give those in the chat with Ford Performance and they will let you know if a VIN# has been assigned. Some dealers are better than others at providing information and at least you will know that the VIN# exists or not to bug your dealer for it.

I've just use it and Ford Performance just confirm me a blend date of 4/22. Should have it at the beggining of May just as I want it.

Your dealer is not telling you the truth. They did not have allocation so they could not order it. I am assuming you asked them what the status was and they told you a fairy tale about PP parts being on hold. Several others here got stung in the same way. Go yell at your dealer for not letting you know they could not order it in Nov and telling you a tall tale now. For the record, several PP cars have been delivered between now and Nov.

The guy replied you about allocation is probably right. I made an order of a EU Mustang GT with magneride (pp1 and active exhaust are standard for European Mustangs alongside the features of you premium version) back in December and I have Vin (since the beginning of January) and build date (21st of March).

My '15 ended up being built 48 days behind schedule.

The larger parts related shutdown ended on 2/11, but there continued to be a steering wheel shortage, so the line restarted then, but all the cars coming off had no wheels. There were reportedly about 8000 cars made that way. The steering wheel shortage ended on 2/25. Cars on the line since then (such as Sasquatch's) were produced normally and continued through the process. Cars without the wheels (such as mine and Eric's) are stuck at "In Production" awaiting retrofit of the wheels. Anyone's guess as to how long or in what order that will take.

Just got a $750 private cash mailer valid until 4/1 so another reason to hope my 401a makes it onto a transport soon.

Guys, my new ride just came in on time according to the tracker. Here’s the breakdown:

Timeline was great, my salesman said they sell the most Raptors in the state so getting allocation was never an issue for us.
