Ford are very tight lipped on the '18MY refresh.

However, expect:

10-speed auto
DI/PI (direct AND port injection) on the Coyote.....thing around 460hp/420lb/ft
Revised front/rear fascias and lights
LED headlamps
Dual mode exhaust
Magneride suspension
Perhaps tweaks inside and new infotainment systems

Expect to see it at the LA Show in November or Detroit in January.....with cars hitting US lots around June 2018.

No guarantees as to what the UK will get or when though ;)

If it makes you feel any better, my projected build was July '16, then more specifically 11th July '16. Its final build date was 19th July so it didn't move too much.... but hey...its all pot luck ha!

Remembering the early days rumours I wouldn't be surprised to find the MY18 had four doors and was badged Musdeo...

The Coyote upgrades and 10-speed will be shared with the F150, so economies of scale mean Mustang list price should go up any more than it usually does, year on year

Don't forget.....the US version is rated at 435hp now, so it's not a massive leap to expect another 25hp.

The 5.0 started out at 412 for the '11MY. Then made 420hp for '13MY......and gained another 15hp for '15MY. 460hp will also (just) eclipse the current Camaro.

It remains to be seen if the RHD manifold continues to sap some of that power though.

On that note, is it possible with some reworking of the manifold the power can be reclaimed? There's lots of options to increase power but I was wondering why no aftermarket manufactures haven't looked at the problem rather than changing other bits to increase bhp.

Referring to the OP , what headings would we have

Order date / Planned build date / actual build date etc etc. I run out puff here as I havent bothered to look beyond a build date or rather assess the elements I can track.

Yes [MENTION=9193]marks[/MENTION], I got exactly that update from Stacey today. Ordered 29th July & expected build date is March 2017! I was expecting delivery by April...

Howdy - longtime lurker, so thought it was about time I posted...

Ordered my RR Ecoboost on 21st May and was told by Stacey today that it will be allocated an October build date at some point next week.

Maybe the black roof has delayed things? Either way, I want it to be registered/delivered after April
